What we do at GCA camps

GCA are holding Summer camps in various Gloucestershire venue this School holidays.  GCA camps are for all abilities, for children aged between 4 and 11 years old.  Children will learn the fundamental skills involved in Cheerleading such as arm motions, jump technique, tumbling, stunts, dance and cheer and throughout the day various sessions will incorporate into a short routine which the Cheerleaders will show to their parents at the end of the day (Cheerleaders LOVE to show off!  And we need a crowd to cheer us on! ) Throughout the day we play games to win prizes, and it gives children a chance to get to know each other.

Ages
Our camps are generally suitable for Primary school aged children from Reception year to year six.  In certain cases we can accept younger children but please call us first so that we can discuss this with you.

What to wear and bring
PARENTS: Please make sure your child has a packed lunch with them on camp day, plenty of drink (no fizzy drinks please) and sensible clothing - shorts/gym pants underneath skirts, and no flip flops, crocs, or shoes - TRAINERS or DAPS ONLY!!

Cost
Camps cost £17 for the whole day.  You can pay on the day by cash or cheques made payable to GCA.

What next?
At the end of the camp day you may decide that you want to start coming to regular Cheerleading classes.  Please speak to any of the GCA staff or look at our classes page to find out more.
